Viewers might be able to watch more of the current SBS drama 'Ddanddara'!

On May 11, drama associates reported to Ilgan Sports, "SBS 'Ddanddara' is in talks to air 2 more episodes." Originally the drama was set to premier a total of 16 episodes, but its rising popularity seems to have led to the possible change in plans.

SEE ALSO: Mnet's 'M! Countdown' and MBC's 'Show! Music Core' will not be airing this week

In the beginning, 'Ddanddara' had a rough start with low ratings. However, it managed to catch viewers' attention with its intriguing story of the entertainment industry. Now it is the second most viewed drama of its airing time following MBC's 'Goodbye Mr Black'.

Im so glad that it's successful . the drama has more to it than just a romantic story, it's not focused mainly on romance , it's more incleaned towards thet problems that idols/entertainers go thru in the entertainment industry . it's really worth the watch , esp with brilliant performances form the actors , ESP ESP Ji sung's perf , he's ust a perfect actor .

HA! You can't judge a story by the first episode. You gotta wait a bit. If it still sucks then, then stop watching... Oh, well. take that you haters.

The story is interesting and they keep rolling out more secrets. But I wonder how easy it is to just put out two more episodes. Presumably the writers had the whole series planned out for a 16 ep run.Frankly the introduction of this love triangle seems like a bad idea to me and I think it will kill what is interesting about the show by getting sidetracked on these tangents.

I suspect that more than the success of Ddanddara, the reason for the extension is because their next drama Wanted is way behind schedule.  They still haven't even cast the leads.

I think people will like the drama now because they hope Hyeri will end up with Minhyuk and not Ji Sung now, im picking thats what will happen but who knows, I hope Ji Sung ends up with Chae Jung An shes been by his side all this time and Minhyuk has always like Hyeri, even though you can see Hyeri falling for Ji Sung, well my theory anyway
