Previously, it was reported that MBC's 'Infinity Challenge' would be holding a surprise Sechskies comeback project. On April 14, the group held a variety of surprise concerts in various locations, as well as a finale show with the 'Infinity Challenge' crew at Seoul World Cup Stadium.

While many fans expressed excitement for Sechskies' reunion after 16 years, some viewers of 'Infinity Challenge' have pointed out that the staff may have aimed for the Sechskies comeback project for another reason. 

The upcoming Sechskies special of 'Infinity Challenge' will be broadcast on April 16, which also marks the 2nd anniversary of the Sewol Ferry Tragedy. 

To remember those lost in the Sewol Ferry tragedy, the Korean people use yellow ribbons as a symbol of tribute, tying them to tribunals, wearing them as badges, or simply wearing the color yellow on that day. 1st generation idol group Sechskies is well-known for their fan club color, as fans often filled concert halls with seas of yellow during Sechskies performances. 

The 'Infinity Challenge' members are also known to have remembered the tragedy with a variety of tributes in the past, such as wearing yellow, making charitable donations, and speaking up about the remembrance day on broadcast.
