'Running Man' caught up in controversy over inappropriate language?

misc.
A recent airing of 'Running Man' used a term that is apparently inappropriate and degrading towards women; however, many netizens are unconvinced that the word is something to get your underwear all up in a bunch about.

The term, 'buwak,' is slang that is used to target women in a derogatory manner, particularly gold-diggers. This term was used as a part of a caption for 'Running Man's April 10 episode. Though usage of the word was made into something of a controversy in the media, levelheaded netizens were far from convinced that the 'Running Man' crew did anything out of line or degraded women in any way, shape, or form.

The comments read,"I'm hearing buwak for the first time. Hm," "Never heard it before," "What the hell are they talking about lolololololol," "They really must have nothing to write about," "?How is this degrading women..?" "???," and, "I've heard it for the first time. I think it's weirder that they're making up a weird word like this."
