2015 was a good year for Hwang Jung Eum in both her career and her personal life; the dramas she starred did exceptionally well and she found that special someone whom she wants to spend the rest of her life with! 

For some, news of her dating may have come as a shock; however, that wasn't as big a shock as when she announced her marriage soon thereafter. Naturally, some were wondering what the rush into the marriage was, especially considering that Hwang Jung Eum and Lee Young Don have dated for not even half a year. 

With her February marriage to her beau fast-approaching, which happened to top realtime searches, Hwang Jung Eum's side stepped forward with an explanation, which was broadcast on the January 10 airing of MBC's 'Section TV.'

A rep of Hwang Jung Eum said, "On February 26, Hwang Jung Eum will hold a private wedding ceremony at Shilla Hotel. The two like each very much, and he gave her a lot of support during her drama filming, solidifying their trust in one another, which is the basis [of the early marriage]. Further, their families wanted them to get married as quickly as possible since their relationship was made public, leading them to decide on marriage."

You need not worry that Hwang Jung Eum will disappear off the face of this earth after she ties the knot; her rep promised that she will be back to promoting as usual straightaway. 

Let's hope there are no complications or hiccups until the day they march down the wedding aisle!
