10 Idols who are pushing the 90's trend

4minute, EXID, f(x), Wonder Girls, Jay Park, Seo In Young, MC Mong, Beenzino, GOT7, Red Velvet
1. 10 Idols who are pushing the 90's trend
The 90's is calling and they want...well, everything back! These groups literally bring a new definition to recycling. I haven't seen any bell bottoms yet (I'm disregarding your fashion choice PSY) but 90's fashion is making its way back to the future. Of course, a few songs here and there work that 90's sound, but when they come on stage they mean business!
2. MC Mong
Another singer who witness 90's fashion evolving around him, MC Mong has quirky taste in clothes and music. Popular titles like "Love Mash" really highlight his appeal for jerseys, pullovers, and anything else vibrantly colored that he can put on his body.
3. Seo In Young
If you happen to be a fan of this diva, then you already know how her fashion sense is fond of all things 80's and 90's. Besides the fact that she actually grew up performing during the time, Seo In Young has mastered the fusion of current styles and never ending fashion trends. Just check out "Shout it out" or "Let's Dance" if you don't believe me.
4. Jay Park
Although some may not think it, he definitely has pulled some inspiration from the iconic time of when hip hop flourished. Don't forget his style for "Jo-ah" - even the sound was classic R&B goodness. However, I won't even uttered a word about what's going on in "Mommae," but simply that those braids, plaid shirts and tims are all signs of thrift shop heaven. All he is missing is the jumpsuit.but we can leave that for Seo Taiji and the Boys.
5. f(x)
Now I give credit where it's due. These ladies totally initiated the pencil skirt trend, but it is evident they have a one way ticket down the timeline. Maybe SM was trying to think out of the box but not only does "4 Walls" sound like the latest sound track for H&M but also their style is riding the 90's train all the way to the dressing room. Yet, who cares? f(x) is still fabulous in their flared pants and clean patterns. Talk about vintage.
6. EXID
These ladies are dominating the K-Pop scene, and with reason! Not only are their songs carrying a bit of Missy Elliott swag but also their outfits are the epitome of what 'Forever21' tries to achieve with every denim outfit. "Ah Yeah" is just one of many concepts pushing the timeline.
7. Wonder Girls
Wonder Girls, trust me, "I feel you" and your fashion sense. Not only were these outfits full of sass but also the music video and song itself sound like an aerobics workout program. Even though it is on the cusp of late 80's leading into 90's fashion, If you're from the 90s, you'll remember jamming out to these sounds on cable TV, but now you can just do it in the comfort of your home...maybe even in those swim suits?
8. 4minute
Speaking of bucket hats, can't forget 4Minute's "Crazy." Even though many are loving the sexy fierces 90's power these girls are rocking, you gotta be crazy to want to wear a leather bucket hat..just saying. I appreciate Gayoon's style the most, despite how much it screams "chola from the Bronx."
9. Beenzino
Today's hottest rapper, but yesterday's trendsetter. His outfits are always calm and simple but still matching to his taste. Although I've yet to see him rock a bucket hat on stage (If he has, don't show me..), his "How do I look?" MV carries a real 90s feel. Even the video quality seems like it was captured on an old kodak.
10. Red Velvet
"Ice-Cream Cake" may have a creepy futuristic sound, but those outfits are a blast from the past. Pencil skirts, polos, tucked in collared shirts, even hush puppies! The girls are practically time travelers with their modern chic looks yet seventeen magazine oldest fashion tips.
11. GOT7
"Just Right" really oozed 90's fashion, from their oversized hoodies to the primary color scale of a crayola coloring box with all the blues, greens and yellows. Particularly, JR brought out the feeling of looking through my old baby album with that mixed pattern shirt.
