The producers of 'Imaginary Cat' have spoken up about the recent controversy surrounding the sub-par acting of lead actress Cho Hye Jung.

During their recent interview with a Korean media outlet on November 25, a representative from the drama commented, "There is some criticism on Cho Hye Jung's acting, but there are also comments saying that it wasn't so bad. It will only improve from now on."

The rep continued, "Cho Hye Jung prepared hard for the role and it's a shame that she is involved in such a controversy. She's put a lot of effort into this project so please be on the lookout."

Meanwhile, the first episode of 'Imaginary Cat' aired on November 24 which was followed by a flood of criticism over Cho Hye Jung's lackluster performance�compared to Yoo Seung Ho.
