A popular 'AfreecaTV' BJ (broadcast jockey) is swept up in a controversy for allegedly selling his girlfriend out for the title of 'Best BJ.' 

This past October 5, an 'AfreecaTV' BJ named Lee Shi Woo claimed on his live broadcast that an employee from 'AfreecaTV' had taken an interest in his girlfriend and offered him the 'Best BJ' title in exchange for sexual favors from her. After he agreed to the deal, Lee didn't step in when his girlfriend poured drinks for people she didn't know and when she was forced into physical contact at a gathering with 'AfreecaTV' reps. He even turned a blind eye when she stepped out in a drunken state with people from the gathering.

As Lee spun his disturbing tale for seven minutes, 'AfreecaTV Police' (the administrators) decided to terminate his live broadcast and permanently suspended his account. Some are declaring that because Lee didn't provide any hard evidence to his claims, everything he said may be fabricated and are arguing the authenticity of the story. 

Netizens are demanding the truth between what really went down between Lee and 'AfreecaTV' reps, and the sexual favor controversy doesn't seem as if it will be dying down any time soon. Some netizens speculated that Lee Shi Woo may have used drugs shortly before he started the broadcast.

'AfreecaTV's PR team released a statement regarding Lee's story, saying, "It's been understood as false and Lee Shi Woo's broadcast was suspended for slander."
