14 reasons BoA will always reign as the Queen of K-pop

Boa
1. She's been in the game forever.
Debuting in 2000 with her catchy hit single "ID; Peace B," she's been an unstoppable force since.
2. Not to mention she's literally always been talented.
Even before her debut, she stunned her audience with her dancing and singing talents.
3. She also writes and composes her own stuff.
You hear this masterpiece? You're hearing the self-composed work of the queen herself.
4. Her fans let her know that they will forever love and support her.
In this magical moment, BoA's Japanese fans sang her song "Meri Kuri" back to her, causing BoA to shed some happy and touched tears.
5. She's made her presence known in Korea, Japan, China, and even the United States of America.
Eponymous album in the U.S? Check. Six chart-topping studio albums in a row in Japan? Check. Mandarin covers of her own songs? Check.
6. She's even gained some acting chops!
In addition to starring in the main female lead in "Make Your Move," she also voiced Heather the opossum in the Korean and Japanese versions of "Over the Hedge" as well as took on the lead role in the drama special "Waiting for Love."
7. Even Western celebrities love her!
Here she is chilling with Avril Lavigne and Bruce Willis at the Cannes Film Festival in France, no big deal.
8. But let's be real here though. K-pop wouldn't be as big as it is today without her.
Despite chilled Korea-Japan relations, her first Japanese debut album skyrocketed to the top of the charts, making her the first Korean artist ever to hit #1 on Japanese music charts. This led to the gradual entrance of other K-pop artists into the Japanese market and eventually music markets all over the world!
9. Today her name's recognized all over the world.
She's taken her overseas success from Japan to the world, showing us a true example of a Hallyu star.
10. She's even bestowing her regal wisdom upon future K-pop stars in need.
Here she teachers trainee Kim Do Yeon how to hit the high notes easily without straining her voice. In just a matter of minutes, Kim Do Yeon immensely improves.
11. With all of her successes, you'd never guess that she's known difficulties from a young age.
At the young age of 13, she headed over to Japan on her own to prepare for her overseas debut. Not only was she unable to see her family and friends but she also had difficulties communicating properly until she gained a strong grasp of the Japanese language. Yet despite these difficulties and not having someone who truly understood her pains, she worked hard and became the perfect star today.
12. She also understands and overcame heartbreaking loss.
In 2003, BoA's manager was killed in a car accident. What made the event even more tragic was the fact that he was also one of her closest friends at the time as he would go around praising BoA's many talents and strengths to anyone who would listen.
13. Yet she continues to press on through even her toughest hardships.
Despite the loss of her manager and close friend, she continued to perform the upbeat and cheery song "Atlantis Princess." While she was visibly on the verge of tears throughout the performance, she continued to push through the performance, continuing to smile for her fans.
14. Today it's 2015, and she continues to dominate.
Her incredible 15-year reign over the K-pop world continues with her recent release of "Kiss My Lips," where we continued to see her outstanding dancing and singing talents. Long live Queen BoA!
