Comedian Jang Dong Min commented on the harsh idol lifestyle on the December 4 broadcast of KBS Cool FM's 'Jo Jung Chi and Jang Dong Min's 2 O'Clock'.

He talked about attending the '2014 MAMA' that happened on the 3rd, saying, "I was surprised. I thought it was a hidden camera prank. I went to the airport, and I thought a lot of Korean people came out to support the idols. When I passed by, they called out, 'Jang Dong Min.' I didn't even dream that they would be from Hong Kong. I was very surprised. It made me think that I should work even harder." 

The comedian also shared that he couldn't help but feel pity for the hardworking idol stars. He said, "My heart felt depressed and touched. I was on the same plane as 2PM coming and going, and for me, my body doesn't feel good after a plane ride. Those kids do it every day though. It was really sad. It's not just Asia, but they go to South America and Europe as well. Even still, they were still studying music in the plane. Not just 2PM, but all the other kids as well. I was shocked."

Jang Dong Min went on, "Yesterday, I presented an award to 2PM, and we were talking on the airplane beforehand. I joked that I really like them and I can see how hard they work, so even if another person's name is on the card, I'd call them. I was really happy when the name 2PM was actually on the card. It was a very different experience."
