During her showcase for her solo debut with mini-album 'First Romance' on November 19, Nicole revealed some behind-the-scenes stories. �She revealed that she actively took part in preparations for her album from choosing the songs to choosing the outfits.

She said, "I'm seeing you all for the first time in a really long time. �I yearned for the stage. �My ambitions to do well while working on the album were so large that when things didn't go as planned, I cried a lot."

She also stated, "I really cried a lot while preparing for the album. �I really wanted to do well, so I was nervous and scared when I went into the recording studio for the first time in a long while. �There were a lot of times the recording time got delayed because of me. It was already tired out from crying, but the strength I had gained from eating would also get exhausted, so I would have to eat again.. I think I especially cried a lot for this album."

She also talked about working with INFINITE's Dongwoo for her track "7-2=Misunderstanding".

"INFINITE's Dongwoo featured in the song '7-2=Misunderstanding,'"�she began.� "I've been close to Dongwoo for a while now and I jokingly asked him, 'Oppa, feature in one of my songs.' We even played a game in which if he lost, he would feature and if he won, he wouldn't. �In the end, he lost the game, but he readily did it for me. When I heard '7-2=Misunderstanding,' I immediately thought of Dongwoo, so that's why I immediately asked him for the favor."
