KARA's Youngji met up with�Girls' Generation's Sunny for 'Sunny's FM Date', and revealed the funny accident which led her to upgrade her phone!

'Roommate' viewers probably have noticed by now that Youngji had been using a 2G flip phone. However, it turns out she's upgraded to a smartphone recently, catching up with the changing technology. On the November 4th airing of 'Sunny's FM Date', Youngji shared, "I switched from a 2G phone to a smartphone. I hope that you innocently believe me, but I spilled salad dressing on my phone while eating salad... After going for a few days without a cellphone, it became an inconvenience to those around me so my agency bought a cellphone for me."�

When Sunny questioned her about whether she had dropped her phone into a bowl of salad dressing on purpose, Youngji denied that this was the case. She said many suspected that she had broken her old phone on purpose to get an upgrade, but that it really was just an innocent mistake.

She also added, "To be honest, I never felt any discomfort when I used a 2G phone. Even now, I don't really use my smartphone, so I can get my battery to last for 2 days."

Her agency DSP Media rep also confirmed to Newsen on the 5th, "Youngji switched to a smartphone 3 weeks ago. As revealed on radio, she spilled salad dressing on her 2G phone so the agency changed it for her."
