Previously, it was reported that the two YG trainees, Yang Hong Seok and Jung Jin Hyung, that did not make the cut for upcoming boy group iKON were going to have a meeting with CEO Yang Hyun Suk regarding their future, putting the question up in the air about whether they will be staying in the agency or departing from it.  

It appears that the two boys will be staying with YG Entertainment as the agency disclosed to Newsen on November 10, "Yang Hong Seok and Jung Jin Hyung had a face-to-face discussion with YG's chief producer, Yang Hyun Suk, on the 8th and have decided to stay in YG."

The two boys reportedly showed their intention to stay within YG, which Yang Hyun Suk accepted.  According to a rep in an exclusive by Star News, Yang Hyun Suk was able to understand that the boys were not lacking in talent compared to the others, but had less time to prepare.

The rep stated, "Yang Hong Seok and Jung Jin Hyung will be provided with a music and dance practice room for one year at YG to hone their skills.  Regarding whether they will debut under YG, that will be decided after seeing them at that time.  Their debut under YG depends on their diligence from hereon."
