The JYP Entertainment�CEO held his 'Bad Party - Halftime Show' concert on December 20 at Seoul's Olympic Park, where he revealed that former JYPE artist Rain was like�"a lion about to starve to death" when they first met.�

Before singing "Instead of Saying Goodbye", J.Y. Park said, "A hyung I knew asked me to see an audition. He said it was someone who was rejected by 16 labels. When [Rain] walked in the door, he was like a lion that was about to starve to death."

He explained, "Though he looked tired and like he was going through a rough time, he had a lion in his eyes. He was full of pride and dreams. Though he wanted to be a singer, his pride didn't allow him to beg for it."

J.Y. Park's 'Bad Party' concert has been going on since 2007, and this year marked his 19th anniversary as a singer. As for Rain, he's currently preparing for his comeback as well as starring in his reality show 'Rain Effect'.
