Some idols are known and beloved for their sweet and pretty features while other idols push the limits of fashion and style in order to stand out as charismatic and unique artists. �While some of it may work . . . quite a lot of it doesn't--but that's still okay! �They succeeded in capturing attention and that's what's important, right? �Eventually, they managed to comfortably find their individual, special style and that's all that matters.

Still, we do need to look at some of these precious gems from the past. �It appears that mostly SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment used their idols as test-subjects for various looks and hairstyles, but there are some other artists in the list, as well. �Check out the crazy hairdos (or don'ts...) below!

1. 2NE1's CL�

CL is looking very hot and charismatic these days--that is undeniable. �She has found her style and is comfortable with it. �I especially love her current jet black hair; it just works so well on her. �But, um, yeah, this raccoon hair? �Not so much. �Is that a pair of scissors in her hands? �See, even she wants to cut it off.

2. �2NE1's Dara

It was honestly hard to pick just one hairstyle for Dara--she had so many crazy ones. �But amazingly, she pulls off most of them very well, especially her most famous one second from the left. However, the one all the way on the right . . . makes her look like an evil super villain who goes by the name of Dr. Icy-Icicle or something.

3. Big Bang's G-Dragon

G-Dragon also has a ton of different hairstyles--too many to choose from. However, I think this one may very well take the cake. �Or rather, it looks like it was dipped in very pink, frosted cake. �I honestly don't know, though, who could pull this look off better than G-Dragon. �Regardless, I prefer him with not-so-long hair.

4. Lee Hyori

Chitty chitty bang bang, anyone? �I remember her MV for this song stirred a lot of interest because people were surprised by her change in image and were saying she was trying to be like Lady GaGa. �I think she can pull off this hair, but it's definitely crazy and not the best look for her.

5. SECRET's Ji Eun

This hair is crazy--as in crazy good. �I loved the hair when I first saw her with it because the color is so beautiful. �How did they even get her hair dyed that color?? �It's like a dark aquamarine blue? �I don't even know how to explain it and it even has subtle purple highlights. �I really liked this and she definitely looked good with this hair, in my opinion. �Still, it was a crazy and gutsy move on the part of her agency for which they deserve applause.

6. SHINee's Key

This is not the most flattering look for our Key diva. �The long mohawk would be okay if the sides of his head were not dyed blonde, I think. �As a matter of fact, if they were left black like the rest of his hair, I think this style would look pretty good on him!

7. f(x)'s Krystal

This hairstyle, while unique and eye-catching, looks like some random person wandered into the salon and thought, "What the heck, I'll give it a go!" �The person must have thought chopping off different bits of her hair was called "layering" and that the blonde dye was actually conditioner to help the split ends of her hair, then SM saw the result and decided, "Hey, this is new. �Let's just run with it."

8. �Brown Eyed Girls's Narsha

Um, ditto. �Like a bowl cut gone wrong.

9. �Big Bang's Taeyang

Ah, yes, the "Mickey Mouse" hair. �I feel like he has two top-secret scrolls posing as hair on top of his head so no one would suspect and he could safely carry them to their destination. �

10. Big Bang's T.O.P

Okay, the hair plus the sunglasses = horrible combination. �T.O.P is looking a lot classier and suave now with his longer hairstyles in which his hair isn't pinioned onto his scalp. �I feel like he should be in some Japanese anime as a bounty hunter or something.

11. TVXQ

I believe this was during their 'Triangle' days . . . very wild hairstyles. �You cannot deny this--there are spikes coming out of the back of Jaejoong's head for goodness sake. �And Changmin's, too! �They look like they literally jumped out of an Anime.

12. Block B's Zico

I don't know what to say to this. �Is that all really his hair?! �It looks kind of heavy. �Hey, if you just stare at his face in this picture, he looks really cute. �He is definitely handsome, but when you let yourself zoom out, you're kind of distracted. Maybe it's just me but his hair here reminds me of the predator.

I honestly wonder what these singers think sometimes when they see their reflection after getting some weird new hairstyle. �Then, they have to go out in public like that even if they don't want to sometimes.
