Lee Jun Ki's agency speaks up about the actor's reference to depression in recent interview

Lee Jun Ki

Actor Lee Jun Ki recently attended an interview with the press and mentioned that he felt depressed after the completion of his latest drama, MBC's 'Two Weeks'. He told TV Report, "The two week break was too long. Every day dragged on, and I passed each day with melancholy and depression. Maybe it's because I lived as Jang Tae San for the last few months and felt a lot of love for 'Two Weeks', but I was sorry to leave and I think I am emotionally exhausted."

On the 18th, a rep from his agency spoke up to ease everyone's worries: "It is true that Lee Jun Ki referred to depression in his latest interviews. However, it's not serious enough that fans need to be concerned."

The rep explained, "Lee Jun Ki poured all of his passion into the drama 'Two Weeks'.  We believe he is feeling an emptiness because he has been unable to completely free himself from the lingering memory of the drama's character, Jang Tae San . . . He will take a short break, and he plans to return with a new production."
