On the September 20th broadcast of the pilot program 'Superman is Back', Lee Hwi Jae, Jang Hyun Sung, Choo Sung Hoon, and Lee Hyun Woo were given the mission to supervise their children for 48 hours by themselves.

He received a scare when his twin babies wouldn't stop crying and sent his children to the pediatrician to check if something was wrong. Fortunately, the twins didn't show any signs of a fever or serious illness, but merely had a case of infantile colic. Lee Hwi Jae told his manager to call his wife to tell her that the twins were fine.
He then went back home and was trying to put his twins, Suh Un and Suh Joon, to sleep when he called his wife who wanted to go back home for the kids. Lee Hwi Jae assured her, saying, "Trust oppa. Don't worry," but his wife couldn't help but get emotional.
As a father, he later spilled tears himself, becoming overwhelmed by the emotional rollercoaster he went through that day and told his kids as he put them to bed, "Daddy was so scared. I thought all sorts of thoughts. I'm sorry. If you grow up and watch this broadcast, how much will you laugh at me?"
