Entertainer Yoo Se Yoon will be making a comeback as a host for an upcoming program. On August 29, Yoo Se Yoon attended a press conference at CJ E&M's center for channel tvN's new cable show 'Perfect Singer VS'. 

After his DUI scandal in May, Yoo Se Yoon temporarily took a break from all activities, going on a hiatus. He has now resumed his activities after returning to tvN's 'SNL Korea' and promotions with UV, but 'Perfect Singer TV' officially marks Yoo Se Yoon's return to the variety world. 

At the press conference, Yoo Se Yoon expressed, "I returned to 'SNL Korea' as a team member, but because I am the host of 'Perfect Singer TV', I consider this show to be my official comeback." He also mentioned, "Rather than focusing on preparing new content, I am determined to diligently work in order to bring more laughter to viewers." 

He added, "Not only did I feel apologetic to my fans, but I also learned a lot during my hiatus. I came to realize that my fans cherished and supported me regardless of my shameful actions. Therefore, I feel that I am indebted to them. I've promised to always see my fans with a happy face and provide them with laughter and humor." He expressed his apology to his fans with a mixture of regret and aegyo. 

Through this program, Yoo Se Yoon is rejoining fellow entertainer Kim Gu Ra, who he previously worked with on MBC's talk show 'Radio Star'. Yoo Se Yoon expressed his admiration for Kim Gu Ra, saying, "I don't necessarily like it when others give me advice, but Kim Gu Ra speaks with his eyes. He has always been there for me, and when I heard that Kim Gu Ra would be a co-host, I was 80% convinced I would join this program."

'Perfect Singer VS' is a new variety television show that uses a machine called "V Scanner" to evaluate an individual's singing ability. The show follows the battle of two groups: the "Singers" and the "Dream Singers." The "Singers" consist of popular artists Park Wan Kyu, Lee Jung, and Lyn, while the "Dream Singers" consist of Popera singer Isabel, vocalist Suh Jung Hak, and Korean classical musician Ko Geum Sung. The singers will be evaluated with scores of "Perfect," "Great," and "Good," which are based on their performances' rhythm, harmony, and style consistency.
