[Spoiler] TVXQ & EXO's composer Andrew Choi stands on the 'K-Pop Star 2' stage

Experienced composer Andrew Choi began his career as a singer as a contestant on 'K-Pop Star 2'.

He boasts a packed resume as a composer, holding co-composing credits on TVXQ's "Destiny" and "Gorgeous" from their "Catch Me" album, as well as EXO-K's "Baby Don't Cry" and Japanese group EXILE's "All Night Long".

Despite his success, Andrew Choi said his dream was always to become a singer. "In 1999, I came to Korea to pursue a career in music, but it didn't work out," he said. "Now, I'm 33 years old, and I felt that before I became a lot older I wanted to give this one last shot."

Although he was surely the oldest contestant on 'K-Pop Star 2', he wowed the judges with his clear, confident performance of Maroon 5's "Sunday Morning".

"Most good composers can't sing," BoA said. "But when I was recording "Only One", I had a guide come in to record the vocals. I found out that that guide turned out to be Andrew."

"Regardless if someone is 30 or 40 years old, if he possesses positive traits and qualities that the general public can appreciate, I don't believe the age is important," Yang Hyun Suk said. "I wish he can become the hope for anyone who is older than average and wants to be an artist."
