SBS's 'K-Pop Star' has revealed that the show is ready to present viewers a more intense second season!

The show has been gearing up for the upcoming season with the release of various TV ads as well as the announcement of the release of a book for season 1. The latest trailer released featured the three judges, Yang Hyun Suk, J.Y. Park, and BoA, who had re-gathered to review and encourage on the new applicants.

In addition, the season 2 poster for 'K-Pop Star', as shown above, has also been released with the sharp gazes of the judges combined with the words above them, "The most realistic opportunity to become a star!", creating much anticipation, as viewers undoubtedly look forward to seeing the competition.

Furthermore, the production crew of 'K-pop Star' has attested to the popularity of 'K-Pop Star', saying, "As season 1's audition has confirmed the realistic ways of the show, the response to season 2 has been explosive. Ever since June, when we launched our season 2 nationwide auditions for the preliminary round, we received 5 times more applicants compared to season 1."

They also revealed their interest in including people of diverse backgrounds in the show, saying, "We're interested in seeing what kind of talents we will uncover in the next season with audition being held in�Korea as well as various places overseas."
