T-ara's Hyomin has been confirmed for MBC's new drama, 'One Thousandth Man'.
According to a press release on June 14th, Hyomin and actress Kang Yae Won have both been selected as the main female leads in the new series.
Hyomin's agency remarked, "MBC had asked us to keep quiet on this news for the time being. We don't know how the news got out, but it is true that she has been selected as the female lead."
However, an insider from Kang Yae Won's agency has denied that the roles have been confirmed. "Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, and we are currently fine-tuning the details. We will report our official stance soon. It is too soon to jump to conclusions."
'One Thousandth Man' is a new fantasy melo-drama that will tell the story of a legendary nine-tailed female fox who must consume the livers of 1,000 men in order to become human. After obtaining 999 livers, she tries to obtain the last liver of a man who is deeply in love with her. The drama is set to begin airing this August.
