The April 15th live broadcast of SBS's 'K-Pop Star' left many in tears, as contestant Lee Seung Hoon was unfortunately eliminated from the show.

The Top 4 finalists (Park Ji Min, Baek Ah Yeon, Lee Seung Hoon, and Lee Ha Yi) were met with another intense round as each contestant put on their spectacular stage performances.

Park Ji Min performed a cover of Beyonce's "Love On Top" after being trained by SM Entertainment, under guidance from BoA. While wearing a black fedora to match her black suit, Park Ji Min was able to once again mesmerize the audience with her rhythmical dance moves and her perfect high note at the climax of the performance. Park Ji Min received a score of 97 from Yang Hyun Suk, 91 from J.Y. Park, and 95 from BoA.

Baek Ah Yeon, who was trained under JYP Entertainment, challenged herself by selecting the legendary hit song, "I Miss You" by Kim Bum Soo. She was fully able to digest the song with her powerful vocals, receiving the highest score from all three judges, 98 from BoA and 96 from both Yang Hyun Suk and J.Y. Park.

Lee Ha Yi, on the otherhand, performed her rendition of "As Time Goes By" by Tasha and surprised viewers with her rap skills. While being trained under YG Entertainment, Lee Ha Yi was also able to receive guidance on her rap from Big Bang's T.O.P. She received a score of 97 from Yang Hyun Suk, 92 from J.Y. Park, and 95 from BoA.

 

Lee Seung Hoon was the last to perform this week but was unfortunately unable to impress the judges with his rendition of Drake's "Successful". Known for putting on an "artist-like" performance, Lee Seung Hoon instead added his sincerity for this week's performance. He received a score of 87 from Yang Hyun Suk, 86 from J.Y. Park, and 87 from BoA.

 



 

As Lee Seung Hoon was faced with elimination, he was unable to hide his tears, as well as Yang Hyun Suk. "I feel like I'm taking a heavy burden off of my chest. I'd like to thank all of my fans for supporting me and the three agencies. Being able to come all the way here is also because of you guys," Lee Seung Hoon said. Yang Hyun Suk praised his hardwork stating, "I wanted to have a smile on my face when sending you away, but it's making me cry when seeing you cry as well. You have worked very hard. Take the heavy burden off of your chest and let's meet again in the world of professionals." The clip of YG's emotional farewell is provided below:
