Kangta will be making a comeback to the small screen for the first time in 7 years.

The singer has been cast in jTBC's 'Happy Ending' which airs it's first episode on April 23rd. Kangta will be playing the role of Goo Seung Jae, a promising architect who has a sincere and pleasant personality. He is perfect inside and out, enjoying the true joys of life by volunteering his time at orphanages and nursing homes.

In the script, Goo Seung Jae meets Kim Doo Soo (Choi Min Soo)'s daughter Kim Eun Ha (Kim Soeun) and experiences the heartaches of love for the first time in his life. As his sweet love story with Eunha unfolds, Seung Jae will reveal his 'addictive appeals', which will be sure to capture the hearts of female viewers everywhere.

Kangta made his small screen debut in 2005 with 'Loveholic', and has built more acting experience through Chinese dramas, proving his secure position as a top Hallyu star. Seven years after he took on his very first acting role, Kangta is now ready to show his Korean fans everything he's learned in that time.

'Happy Ending' tells the story of a family who lived very separate and selfish lives. As father and husband Kim Doo Soo approaches his death, the family dynamic changes and they all begin to communicate better and get along with one another. Viewers will be able to relate to the drama's heartwarming story, and is sure to offer laughs and tears.
