Earlier, we reported that Cool's Kim Sung Soo (age 43) had been accused of assaulting a woman ,"A", in his home. In the documents released to the press on November 5th, Kim Sung Soo's agency stated his official position on the issue:

"The assault being insisted upon by the woman in her 20's, 'A', are groundless rumors. When Kim Sung Soo arrived home after finishing his schedule, he found 'A' �(who knew his door passcode from when they had dated) waiting for him while drinking. Since it was late and she had been drinking, he didn't think it was the right situation to have a serious conversation with her, and told her to go home. She claims that it was during this time that she was verbally and physically abused. However, Kim Sung Soo had only pushed her towards the door to get her to leave. He didn't commit any violent acts such as stepping on her waist, like she is insisting. Kim Sung Soo and 'A' met in the Spring of this year and dated for 3 months before they parted; they recently started dating again a month ago. However, due to her obsession with him, he's been having a hard time and had been in the process of breaking up with her when this situation arose. Kim Sung Soo has stated that there was absolutely no violence involved, and will confirm the truth through the investigation. He offers his apology to his fans and the people who have taken interest in him for the occurrence of such a situation right before his comeback."
