Actress Han Ye Seul's tearful public apology has become a hot issue. On August 20th's broadcast of KBS 'Entertainment Weekly', Han Ye Seul's public apology was aired. The video consisted of Han Ye Seul's return to the 'Spy Myung Wol' set and formally apologizing to her fellow actors and production crew during lunch. Han Ye Seul stated with tears, "First of all, I never realized that a conflict between me and a few officials could make the entire staff and crew suffer so much. In that aspect, I am extremely sorry. I think I had misconceptions about the production crew. I was really disappointed because I thought they didn't like me and wanted to reject me. Therefore, I thought they gave me a hard time on purpose but I think it was a misunderstanding". This past August 14th and 15th, Han Ye Seul refused to show up for her drama, 'Spy Myung Wol' filming and quickly left for the States causing an emergency situation for 'Spy Myung Wol's future. However, she arrived back in Korea on August 17th, and apologized while reconciling her conflicts. Han Ye Seul added, "I'm thankful that even after I caused such an incident and returned, they still welcomed me warmly. If they could be open-minded and just see me as someone with a weak and lacking heart and still treat me warmly, then I will gain my confidence back and do my best until the end". Meanwhile, fellow actor Eric stated "Though there were disagreeable accidents, I thought that it would've been nice to have these kinds of get-togethers earlier. The actors and crew are ready to accept Ye Seul back. I think that if there are more of these get-together situations, then it could prevent accidents like this from happening".
