We would first like to sincerely apologize for causing everyone so much concern. We would like to bow our heads in apology once more for not properly managing our agency's celebrity. We realize and acknowledge that we have failed to deliver any proper and accurate information regarding Shin Jung Hwan and his situation with the casinos in Cebu, Philippines. Since it would be an invasion of privacy, we did not have his manager follow him for his vacation. Because of such a reason, we were not able to examine the situation when we first heard the reports. The press magnified the situation due to his silence, but we chose not to make an official statement without any accurate information and put our efforts into investigating the situation. Despite our various failed attempts to contact him, we were not in any position to make an official statement due to our lack of knowledge of the situation at hand. We sent his manager to Cebu on the afternoon of the 9th in order to find out what was going on. His manager tried to persuade him to return to Korea, but he asked for a couple days of time, stating, 'I want to just forget everything and rest for a bit.' By the afternoon of the 12th, Shin Jung Hwan had already left the dorm with someone else and could not be reached for contact. Due to Shin Jung Hwan's continued silence, the manager had no choice but to return to Korea without him. It has also been revealed that Shin Jung Hwan has no problems with his health.� His last statement made to his manager was that he had no intention of returning to Korea.
