More than a year has gone by since Park Jin Young (JYP) filed for a divorce but things have got a bit complicated. It was revealed recently that the divorce case has become a court case, mainly due to money. According to a legal representative, there were differences between JYP and his ex-wife, Seo Yoon Jung over compensation for mental distress. It was known that even before the divorce case was filed, JYP had already spread the news that he was getting a divorce on his website. The representative expressed, "JYP's action caused a lot of pain for his ex-wife and they are unable to come to an agreement for the compensation amount. JYP spends most of his time in America because of his work and this has affected the progress of the negotiations and caused further strain on their relationship."
