Music programs are like a kid's birthday party?

Respected rapper MC Sniper, who recently had a comeback with his fifth album titled Museum, had an interview with Newsen. Throughout the interview, he expressed his profound thoughts about both the music industry and himself. Firstly, he criticized the music industry:

15 years ago in KBS's Music Top Ten chart, there were various genres of music for different ages. Today, the music programs feel like it's a child's birthday party. When I go to the prep room before my performance, it feels like I am a parent who is visiting a child's birthday party. The music industry today are focusing a lot on the age brackets of 10-20, using idol marketing.
With all the current "idols," he was thankful for the success LeeSsang had when they made their comeback with their sixth album, HEXAGONAL.
I was happy to see LeeSsang's new album have great success. They "tackled' the idol markets. The music industry needs to be diverse. If not, they all die out. Music today seems to consist of songs that you listen to and throw out.
Then what about the those who are cast in entertainment/variety programs? Regarding this, MC Sniper commented:
Entertainments are because they don't want to offend other people. It doesn't fit with artists and it won't help them either. When a ballad singer jokes, does funny things [in a variety program], and tries to sing a ballad after, I don't think you will be able to "feel" the ballad. Especially guys like me. Variety programs give "sweet things" too easily to the artists. I think it doesn't give them the time to feel anguished about music.
As you all know, MC Sniper is not only an artist but the president of the agency, Sniper Sound. He was asked what kind of a person he is as a president, and he commented:
I want to teach the hoobaes why you need to rap, and I want to become someone who sets milestones for them. I don't like it when people say I am a businessman and not an artist. When Outsider asked me if he could try out variety programs, I said, 'sure.' But afterwards, I felt like he shouldn't do it, so I told him to stop. To be honest, I was more happy and thrilled when Outsider had his debut stage than when he took first place amongst idol girl groups. Rather than being the boss who tells everyone to make money, I want to be an artist who is like a 'brother' to my hoobaes.
What do you guys think about the Korean music industry? Is it all about "idols" and the same type of "autotuned" songs?
