You all probably remember how T-ara's cutie Jiyeon had her first kiss taken by Korea's younger brother, Yoo Seung Ho (OMG THAT LUCKY GIRL T_______T) for T-ara's Lies MV. Well, if you liked the MV, you have quite a treat coming your way since it has been announced that Ji Yeon has been added to the cast of the Korean remake of the popular Japanese manga / 2005 drama, Dragon Zakura. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the drama, it is a tale of five high school seniors and a strict mentor who changes their life forever. The five protagonists attend the worst high school in the entire city and have no hopes or ambitions for their future, alongside the rest of the students attending the school. Because of this, the school is forced to hire a lawyer to think of a way to save their school from closing and the lawyer ends up taking a job as a homeroom teacher, vowing to get at least 5 of their students into Tokyo University, the most prestigious university in all of Japan. Jiyeon will be starring alongside Yoo Seung Ho as a rebellious student, whereas Kim Suro will be taking the role of the strict teacher/laywer/former gang member. And it seems that we won't have to worry much in terms of acting skill on Jiyeon's part, since she some acting experience from being cast for a role on MBC's Hon (Soul). I don't know about you guys, but I absolutely loved Dragon Zakura and I'm totally excited for this remake. Stay tuned for more updates about this drama on allkpop!
