The Social Welfare Society is sponsoring a gallery called "Letters of Angels 5 - Star" that is going to begin on the 19th of this month. Lee Mi Yeon, Yoon Eun Hae, Han Hye Jin, Kim Jung Eun, Jang Hyuk, Park Jung Ah, Lee Seung Gi, Wonder Girls, Seo Kyung Suk, as well as others, came together and took beautiful photos with babies that are currently in foster homes. Photographer Cho Sae Hyun started shooting these photos in 2003 as a means of gaining more activity in adoptions; he has had five different shooting up to this year. One of the many celebrities that participated in this event, Yoon Eun Hae, spoke of how she loves babies, but that she felt extremely bad the day of the photo shoot. She added, "I hope these babies meet great parents, very soon." The Social Welfare Society said that Yoon, instead of leaving after finishing all of her shots, stayed and spent lots of time with the baby. Before shooting, Lee Mi Yeon said, "I have to do well so that the baby doesn't feel uncomfortable, and so the photo shoot can end soon. I hope that all these babies can get the opportunity to grow up in a better environment." When the Wonder Girls were shooting, one of the babies had an "accident", but instead of being disgusted, the girls, as well as everyone else at the studio, just laughed it off. From the statistics of the Social Welfare Society, every year, about 9,900 children are abandoned, and only about 3,900 are actually adopted. Currently, about 6,000 children are under foster facilities. Photographer Cho Sae Hyun said, "I hope this gallery will make people give these babies and adoption another thought, and that these babies get the chance able to find warm families that would be willing to care for them." In this year's gallery, there are to be 20 different photos put on display. The children in these photos range from children with mental disabilities, some that had abandoned by unmarried mothers, to children that are currently under foster care or adopted.
