Sunhwa confessed that she once thought about seeing a psychologist as she had a tough time initially coping with becoming a celebrity and losing the freedom she once had.

On the February 26 installment of 'Moonlight Prince', she and Changmin studied the poem collection 'I'm Red'. They came across a poem titled "Studying Machine", which�read, "The alarm clock is ringing/ The studying machine that is in the 2nd year of high school turns on/ The studying machine that came back home late at night checks over the machine that was on the entire day/ It sputters as it turns off as if it is broken".

At the end of the poem, Changmin asked Sunhwa, "Did you ever feel like you were living like a machine?".

She replied honestly, "I think I felt that way while I was doing this work. You have to work starting from the morning, and then you end early the next day. And then you go get make up done, and this keeps repeating, so I feel like, what is this? You have something like that. It's actually something very thankful when you look back on it. Even though it's something I want to do, I get chased by time and I think, 'Am I a�machine?'."

Changmin knew exactly how she felt, and he agreed by saying, "You feel like you're not even there," to which Sunhwa replied, "Yes, that's it. I wanted to even go see a psychologist at one point. In the beginning, because I was so lonely. When you are in society, there are things you have to do. You have to smile when you don't want to, and you have to greet people that you don't like with a smile. I think it's like this. It was time for me to become an adult, but I didn't want to become one. I just wanted to be a student like before, and hang out with my friends. I didn't want to think like an adult, but I had to be one. But as I worked and met a lot of people, I think I became more mature about it naturally."
