Mnet ‘Super Star K3‘ winners Ooh La La Session were invited to perform on stage with world-famous R&B group Boyz II Men, but unfortunately had to decline.
A music entertainment insider informed OSEN on the 23rd, “Boyz II Men will be holding a charity concert at Jamsil Stadium on the 27th. Boyz II Men is a world-famous R&B group that have remade Journey‘s “Open Arms”, which Ooh La La Session has performed on Super Star K3.
Mnet remarked, “Ooh La La Session really wanted to stand on stage with Boyz II Men as it was for a good cause, but due to their MAMA attendance, will unfortunately be unable to do so“.
Boyz II Men had also sent Ooh La La Session a video message, which sparked the interest of viewers and netizens alike. Boyz II Men remarked that it was amazing how Ooh La La Session touched the world with their music, despite their poor physical conditions. They added that they would like to meet Ooh La La Session the next time they visit Korea.
The Boyz II Men’s UNICEF concert will be taking place on the 27th at Jamsil Stadium. 50 cancer patients have also been invited to the show to watch them perform, and all the profits from the concert will be donated to UNICEF. On the other hand, Ooh La La Session will be in Singapore to perform on stage at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).
