During the broadcast of SBS Inkigayo earlier today, 2PM’s Taecyeon uploaded a photo onto his Twitter noting that it was his last day MCing the show.
He tweeted,
“Last broadcast of Inkigayo!! Although it is very sad, we have to focus on preparing for our concert!! Fighting!!“
Fans expressed their sadness, “Will missing seeing you both on Inki T_T” “Nooooooo T_T this is so sad Taec! I’m gonna miss you guys MCing sooo much u,u it won’t be the same~” “awww can’t believe but anyway keep going on ^^ fighting”
Taecyeon and Wooyoung have been MCing Inkigayo for almost a year now. They replaced former MCs Eun Ji Won and F.T Island’s Lee Hongki in July last year.
At the end of their last broadcast Taecyeon said, “We promise to comeback with a better image” and Wooyoung continued, “I think we really received a lot of love. I ask that you will continue to love both Inkigayo and Sulli”
ALSO! It has been announced that 2AM’s Jo Kwon and CNBLUE’s Yonghwa will be replacing Taecyeon and Wooyoung as the new Inkigayo MCs. Many are curious to see how f(x)’s Sulli will work with her new partners: the ever so energetic Kkab Kwon and the cool yet sometimes awkward Yonghwa. Excited for it?
The two We Got Married husbands, Jo Kwon and Yonghwa, will begin MCing on the July 18th broadcast. So make sure to tune in next week!
