In early June, we reported the exciting news about After School‘s Jung Ah foray into musicals by debuting in one titled Chorus Line. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case anymore as her anticipated musical debut is put on the backburner.
The musical was supposed to begin in late June and end around August, however After School’s overseas activities were scheduled to begin in July. Due to the scheduling conflict, Jung Ah had to cancel her musical debut.
Pledis Entertainment revealed, “Starting in July, After School will release their overseas albums and promote in Singapore, Taiwan, China, Thailand and more. Her After School activities conflicted with the musical schedule so Jung Ah will not be able to partake in the musical. Jung Ah is very disappointed that she would not be able to be in the musical and wants to tell the fans that she would like to be in a musical in the future.”
It’s a shame that she can’t be a part of the musical, but we hope to see her in one in the near future!
