Popular girl group 4minute currently on a hiatus from the stage, participated in a meaningful event on April 5th as they handed out hibiscus seedlings to citizens in Seoul. The handing out of hibiscus seedlings event had been organized by Dong-A Ilbo every year since 1985, with the hibiscus (also called the Rose of Sharon) being the national flower of Korea and had been adopted by the government after the country was liberated from Japanese colonial rule. The seedlings were given out on a first-come-first-served basis, with SNSD, KARA and gagman, Han Min Gwan being the celebrities involved with this event in 2009. [gallery]
