If you’ve ever had that special someone, it seems as though every piece of the puzzle falls perfectly together, right? But if you’ve ever lost that person, your heart seems to wander aimlessly, as if something is missing. Lost at Heart is a song about these struggles and “finding comfort in having experienced such love, but also losing yourself as a result of a relationship that didn’t work out in the end,” bassist Nathan Park describes.

Seriously hopes to connect to their listeners and transcend them to a familiar place where we have all visited once before.

“We hope to strike a chord with our fans in a way they can relate to because music places us on grounds that define our common humanity,” says the band.

Never failing to impress, Seriously once again captures emotion in its rawest form both musically and lyrically. My favorite verse and the most powerful one, in my opinion, gives the song absolute delivery at the end, “It’s not like we were in love / Or at least that’s what I’ll say.” I think I just got the chills.
