JJ releases first mini-album and MV

After announcing her debut as a singer, model JJ released a music video teaser and received a large amount of attention from netizens. Now the wait is finally over as JJ releases her first mini-album Special One and the full music video for her title track More and More.

JJ actually released an album in 2007, but due to low popularity, her debut flopped and caused her to continue modeling while backing away from the music scene; so what changed?

The model-turned-singer now returns with a new genre of music with her title track More and More. Some are saying that the style is similar to that of Korea’s techno craze in the 90s while some say that the beat is similar to that of j-pop.

Most people are anticipating to see how JJ does on the k-pop scene due to her image. She stands at 170cm with a beautiful face and a lean sexy body.

Netizens are commenting that her looks are not that of a typical idol singer and instead she looks like an imports model. It’s quite difficult to explain so take a look below for yourself and decide: yay or nay?

    she’s very pretty..
    but you can barely hear her voice in the song…
    they lyrics seem a bit too slow for the music too..i thought it was gonna be a fast song :p

    She’s really pretty and her voice is pretty soothing, but I just find the background music to be so harsh, it’s taking over her voice.. @__@ It kinda makes me dizzy. It’s not my thing, but best of luck to her! :]

    At first, when I heard the autotone..I was like…aw man… but then once I listened to the first verse, it showed me how soothing her voice is.

    This is very jpop style, so it may not fit many other people. But I like how she’s starting off ‘calmly’ rather than trying to be sexy right of the bat.

    I’ve never heard of her, but I really like the song! Maybe she would gain more attention if she joined a girl group, maybe make her leader (just my opinion).

    JJ is pretty, but her MV is too 90’s.
    The clothes are werid, and she reminds me of SNSD…trying to act all cute and preppy..not my style

    It’s ok. They are trying too hard to put in sexy moves in her choreography and it come out as awkward..
    And I think I saw her underwear in one scene. >.<

    this song sounds a bit jpop-ish. I just remembered a techno jpop group called ‘perfume’ and their songs sounded like this. LOLZ.

    well, she pulls off the outfits really well ^O^
    i thought it was cute, and she seems to have a good voice
    it just feels like sometimes the background music covers her up too much
    idk, i look forward to seeing her around though ^^

    She’s cute, and the song is catchy but I don’t know who she’s trying to appeal too? I feel confused watching her video if that makes sense.
