[KBS Drama Awards] The winners revealed

The KBS Acting Awards definitely picked the right ones to award. This year, KBS aired some of the most hit dramas such as Boys Over Flowers and IRIS. The Daesang went to Lee Byung Hun for IRIS. All his hard work for the action scenes paid off now.

He said, “I got this award for IRIS… When I first debuted and attended my first KBS Acting Awards, I told myself I would win the Daesang one day. I’ve won the Rookie Award and now the Daesang. I’m so happy to win this.”

Now, let’s check out the rest of the winners:

Best Actor: Son Hyun Joo for The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House
Best Actress: Chae Si Ra for Iron Empress
Rookie Awards: Kim So Eun for Boys Over Flowers, Iron Empress / Lee Minho for Boys Over Flowers
Honorable Acting Award (Mini drama): Ji Jin Hee for Man Who Can’t Marry / Kim Ah Joong for The Accidental Couple
Honorable Acting Award (Short story drama): Kim Seung Woo, Jung Jun Ho for IRIS / Kim Tae Hee for IRIS, Goo Hye Sun for Boys Over Flowers
Honorable Acting Award (Long story drama): Kim Suk Hoon for Iron Empress / Jo Ahn for The Sons of Sol Pharmacy House
Honorable Acting Award (Daily drama): Oh Man Suk and Jo Ahn for All Together Cha Cha Cha
Best Supporting Actor: Choi Chul Ho for Iron Empress, Hot Blood Shopkeeper / Yoon Joo Sang for IRIS, The Accidental Couple
Best Supporting Actress: Moon Jung Hee for Iron Empress
Popular Award: Yoon Sang Hyun, Yoon Eun Hye for My Fair Lady / Kim So Yeon for IRIS

I guess the Boys Over Flowers craze didn’t end just yet. Also, IRIS is relatively new and it won almost everything!

    first of all, CONGRATULATIONS to GOO HYE SUN, LEE MIN HO & BOF!! i`m so happy Goo Hye Sun won esp. the NETIZEN award..we know she deserves all the bests in life..she`s a totally amazing, multi-talented & naturally beautiful actress inside & out..we`re so proud of you, Goo Hye Sun..
    as an overseas fan, i`m hurt reading negative comments about her..i just hope those write-ups are not coming from Koreans themselves coz i would just be disgusted & disappointed on the kind of behabior they`re showing off esp. to the many & still growing overseas fans of Goo Hye Sun..please be decent enough in your ways of commenting eventhough we have all the right to do so since it`s a free country..you are representing Korea itself..i`m loving Korea because of jandi & BOF & Joondi/MINSUN couple..

    Congratulations to Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee – Iris – Simply the best – Kim Tae Hee is so pretty – but I like her better when she is just plain and simple – she don’t need a makeover at all – she is pretty as it is – and Lee Byung Hun looks good.

    Yoon Eun Hye <3. This awards is so much better than SBS. I guess it has to made up for the less-than-stellar response it got for its gayo dajeun.

    ahaha i am in the process of watching my fair lady now and because of the couple awards i know how it will end :P its pretty obvious but its just kind of funny haha. so do the kbs drama awards only go to kbs dramas and same with sbs??

    yay! Kim So Eun won an award!! She’s so pretty and i love her character as Ga Eul in BOF, so sweet and innocent :D. So cute with Kim Bum :)

    I can’t stand to watch Gu Hye-sun anywhere, and aslo I’ve skipped most parts of BBF because of her! I really can’t understand how people find her beautiful and successful. I’ve watched the award and again I really hated her- especially her dress!

    the other coment is about YEH, while watching my fair lady I aslo followed the criticisms about YEH but I couldn’t understand why people were too harsh to her because in that drama the most important lacking part was the mistakes about the creen continuity (in my opinion). actors and actresses were not so bad.
    to give only best couple to her was a bit pathetic
    I really really love YEH!!
    KBS Drama Awards was completely IRIS’ and Lee Byung-heon’s show!!

    Argh … i can’t edit my comment. just want to say that Go Hye Seon looks so cute in her ‘uniform’ and i love Oh Man Seok’s performance. glad that he won some awards that night.

    @26 shiroya2: i was also kinda disappointed that they won (especially Kim Tae Hee). the other nominees for that category are far better actresses.
