Japanese version of MBLAQ’s “Oh Yeah” revealed
Today, rookie group MBLAQ joined their boss Rain / Bi in his Official Japanese Homepage Opening. We previously reported on the boys’ arrival to Japan and the welcoming fans who awaited them at the airport.
An audio of MBLAQ’s live performance during the fan meeting surfaced on the internet–a pleasant surprise for fans who missed seeing the male idols on last weekend’s music programs.
They performed to their debut single Oh Yeah, but a slight change was made to the lyrics as the boys sang in Japanese.
Usually, songs sound worse when translated into another language. However, such was not the case for MBLAQ as the Japanese version of Oh Yeah sounded just as good as the Korean one.

sounds different, there are some parts that I really like and some other parts that I dislike, but I suppose I’m too used to the korean version

Hello this is like a fanmeet for fans to enjoy themselves. It’s not like this girl has to shut herself up just because she wanted to please everyone else and have less fun at the fanmeet. I mean, if she wants to cheer and scream like everyone else I don’t see why not. It’s not like this clip is deliberately to showcase her vocal talent, lol. i appreciate the fan’s recording but why does she have to scream at JOON’S part! I can only hear him saying ‘Sukidayoooo’. But i think it sounds pretty good in Japanese, the lyrics fit well.
