
On November 28th, in a rare move, the Seoul Metropolitan Government allowed the KBS2 hit drama IRIS to close off a big section of Gwanghwamun for filming.
Gwanghwamun Plaza was recently renovated and it’s a very popular destination for both citizens and tourists alike, so this move to allow filming here and closing off a section is pretty rare.
IRIS is nearing it’s end for the first season at 20 episodes. So the scenes below depicts something that should happen near the finale. IRIS is a big drama, with a big budget, and they like to do things big as well as you can see from the photos below. Check out the photos from the filming below.
