What’s in store for G-Dragon?
Even though YG Entertainment is in a sticky situation with recent plagiarism issues, don’t think that Big Bang’s G-Dragon will be on the down low until things get resolved.
Besides performing “Heartbreaker” and “Breathe”, rumors have surfaced that YG Entertainment has plans to promote “Butterfly” and ” A Boy” simultaneously on the radio and shows. We previously reported that G-Dragon was set to have to give a triple dose of MVs, but the latest buzz is that he will also be shooting music videos for “A Boy” and “Butterfly”. Others are speculating that “She’s Gone” may also be made into a music video as well. However, none of these rumors have been confirmed, so everyone is still awaiting YG’s verdict.
On top of these promotions and his solo concerts in December, it looks like G-Dragon will be promoting his solo album until the end of the year.

Because I’m sick of all the plagiarism accusations, for your viewing pleasure are some simplified sheets of “Heartbreaker” and “Right Round”. Go ahead and play them out, correct my notations if you believe something is wrong, but here before your eyes is why GD the song is NOT plagiarized. About the only thing that is the same is the use of triplets, and those aren’t even the same note.

The differences are in notes, phrasing, intervals, lyrics(of course).

i absolutly love his song butterfly. for some reason when i listen to it, i think of the korean drama Soulmate. i dont know why but that drama just pops into my head

She’s Gone is G. I hated the chorus at first (really… “oh, she’s gone, yeah”?) but I love his rapping in it, I think it’s the best rapping on the album.
Anyway, I thought Sony was mad at Butterfly for (not) sounding like Oasis (or whatever). ??
