One of the world’s fastest rapper, Outsider (Shin Ok Chul), who gained a lot of fame from his hit-song “Loner“, revealed his tough times in the past.
On tvN ‘E News’, Outsider revealed, “My father, who loves classical music, had a sudden loss of hearing in one ear and soon, the other as well. So my brother, who was a jazz-pianists had to take care of the family by working overnights.”
He also commented that the song, “Loner” is a song that relates to his life experience. With a rumor that he was bipolar, he commented that “sometimes he would be playing with his friends, but would suddenly disappear (as in he went home) and other times I would be irritated out of nowhere and would start to cry.”
He also revealed his weakness saying, “When I rap slow, I feel naked. It feels like all my weakness and everything about me is being looked at. I want to hide my fear by rapping fast“, while also commenting, “I’m a weak guy.”
No wonder all his raps are fast, Outsider had a reason. He wanted to hide his fear. If you know the lyrics to “Loner”, you would know how much of a hard time he must’ve had in the past.
