2PM Jaebeom apologizes!
2PM Jaebeom’s myspace comments from years ago were dug up by netizens, causing an outrage in Korea. But don’t be too harsh on the guy, it was an honest mistake and besides, we’ve all said very similar things. In any regards, Jaebeom has released an official apology, so forgive and forget!
Hello everyone this is 2PM’s Park Jaebum. I would like to apologize on behalf of the comments I had made through Myspace a few years ago. I’m sorry.
As I tell all of you about how I felt that time, I also would like to apologize. In January of 2005, I came to Korea as a high school student. I was born in the States and I had insufficient knowledge of how Korea is. Being it my first time, I couldn’t communicate with others, my taste buds didn’t fit, and I barely knew the culture which I couldn’t understand. I felt as though I was treated coldly by the people around me as my family was left in the States. It was such a difficult situation where I didn’t even know if I was going to debut. Due to many hardships, things were getting too hard and I was getting lonely being homesick. I had the thoughts of quitting and I wanted to go back to my family in the States. The comment based on the Korea part: I wrote that because of my personal situation I was placed in and my emotions took over. I was too young and said things in the wrong words. I was too foolish, young, and facing difficulties where I made the mistake into turning my surroundings worse. Time passed by and I forgot that I had even written them. I am now embarrassed and truly sorry of those comments I had made. After that time, I had adjusted to everything and my thoughts have changed tremendously as I thank the people around me to get me to perform on stage in any situation. Those comments were made four years ago, but I am a different person now. To my family, Hottests, members of 2PM, and those who love 2PM, I am truly sorry. From now on, I hope that there will be no mistakes like this ever again. I will say it one more time that I am truly sorry.

Its so sad that he had to move out of the crew!! :( wow until i heard it n tell it to my cousin, she was crying a lot… omg i wich he’ll have another chance to come back… Do any of u guys no where he is right now? I miss him lots! Hes the best leader in their group but now, he is no longer a leader! (SIGH) so sad :(

Netizens are so silly….like jaebom said he was younger that time and doesn’t know the culture of korea because he grew up from different culture why can’t they just forgive and forget about it?? and they should end up like this…..JYP was also silly for not understanding the situation…..they have to understand that adopting from the culture that you don’t belong is too hard…..maybe his reactions were not good but he was younger then and besides they have to understand that people from western countries are extrovert people they will say what they want to say….it’s natural for them….kicking jaebom from 2pm just because of that reason was really a stupid decission

Ppl need to get their heads out of their… butts… it was 4 yrs ago! and even then what does it matter? i say the US sucks all the time and i get ppl that agree with me you know? He made a mistake and has apologized for it, everyone needs to leave the poor guy alone. Honestly 2PM is the first korean group i fell in love with, they are the ones who opened the floodgates for me lol. Jaebeum i love you! and if there are some ppl who dont love you know that there are even more who do! (^_^)
i liek the fact that jay admitted to his fault but he had a reason why he idd that action. like seirously i could understand. if you put yourself in his shoes, new to the country, language, everything, its hard to get used to to and adapt. ofcourse you’ll say i hate this and that everyone has said so in the past

Korean netizens you have got to give it to them for getting overly dramatic. Come on are you serious? It was four years ago and not only that he wasn’t too comfortable with korea at first. Can you honestly say Korea is super nice to cool foreign people ? Not really especially since they can get pretty jealous. I mean I’m korean and like it’s pretty wierd for me too at times especially since here all the people at least smile at you while passing by where as in korea even little girls glare at you. Plus you have to give him credit he was born in the States. Can one of those netizens come here and deal with like all the asian racism and say oh i perfectly love the US sooo much?? NO.
awww, don’t worry hunnie, you’re already forgiven…people who doesn’t agree with me needs to shut their mouth and read the whole apology letter he wrote and realize how he’s very emotional and sad of the situation he was in…people needs to be considerate of other people’s feelings…if i was in the situation he was in 4 years ago i would’ve said those words too..knowing nobody in your hometown and didn’t know how to communicate, your taste buds weren’t fitting in, that’s horrible, it’s like you’re living in another planet..loneliness and tons of emotions will burst out of you…trust me cuz i have had a little bit of that situation…though not to the point i didn’t know how to communicate. please, forgive this guy…everyone deserves a second chance why can’t he have one too?

come on it was when he was in high school. if you go to korean sites right now, it’s just mad crazy. they’re all talking about kicking jay out of 2pm and they’re like yankee go home and i’m like wtf he was freaking young @ that time and first of all, i don’t understand who would look through jae bum’s myspace and find those comments and just post them up everywhere so they can get at jae bum like that. this is like really bad and i’m truly worried about jae bum. and another thing, wooyoung on his cyworld said 2pm is altogether, i don’t understand why people are saying crap about him since he’s just trying to be there for jay and showing people that 2pm is a strong group, but a lot of people in korea are saying that he’s just trying to cover him up and not admit his faults when jay already wrote an apology and explained his situations at that time. this is so frustrating and it’s pissing me off so yeah.
