Kang Eunbi’s Suicide Attempt
Actress Kang Eunbi, who is debuting as a singer, confessed recently that she had attempted suicide.
On tvN ENEWS on 6th August, Kang Eunbi expressed her feelings about how she had to suffer through hurtful rumors and hateful comments about her singing debut.
Kang Eunbi said, “Anti-fans followed me on set, threw milk, eggs and tissues at me. I had to go around with a bucket on my head. I even had to get psychiatric consultation.”
She added, “After that, I kept on hearing voices saying ‘Die. I don’t need you’, I tried to commit suicide several times. I heard voices in the morning so I ran up to the roof and tried to hang myself. I tried rolling off the stairs, and also tried to cut my wrist.”
Even her young brother was not spared from the abuse, “My brother was ostracized in school because of me. My brother once came to me crying, holding my hands and pleading with me to leave the entertainment industry and not become an actress.”
This was not the end of her confessions as she said, “When Jung Da Bin and U-nee committed suicide, there were rumors that I committed suicide as well because of what I wrote in my minihompy.” Kang Eunbi will also be talking about many of her other rumors, from accusations that her beauty mark on her nose is fake, to the scandal she had with soccer player, Lee Chunsoo. Her interview airs later this evening through tvN.
i was surprised when i read this…i really like her…those anti fans are immatures…instead of torturing her why don’t they mind their own businessess…
it’s sad that she attempted suicide before. so many korean stars have committed suicide, this just show how much influence netizen have on their lives. I wish though that they would consider their family that would have to go through such heartbreak from their actions. nothing justify making others feel like dirt, if you’re an anti-fan, just stop supporting, don’t have to go this far to ruin others
i remember like five-some years ago when she tried to hug yoochun on some show & i (along w/ my entire generation) was all outraged LOL.
what i mean to say is, a majority of netizens are under the age of 16 & the ones who aren’t that are throwing eggs and shit might as well be under 16. i, for one, am very happy that her multiple suicide attempts have failed & i hope things get better for her ..
i admit that i don’t like her (b/c her actions in Xman) but i would NEVER throw eggs, milk and tissue at her. that’s just plain mean! ><

wow, thats so sad. i havent seen her for a long time. i remember her from xman show and rainbow romance with kim bum, heechul, etc. she did act sickeningly cute but it was like her concept. similar to jokwon’s “cheapness” thing, cept her’s brought her hate i guess.

Bah. Why do people feel the need to bash someone they don’t like? I’m no fan of hers (Can’t stand women who act so sickeningly innocent), BUT I’m not going to make her life a living hell because of that. What’s the point? I genuinely believe that antis want nothing more than to either chase a celebrity out of the limelight or to drive them to commit suicide. How can you say, write and do such horrid things to someone who hasn’t done anything to you? You must be a very hateful person to harbour such resentful feelings towards a stranger.
And I don’t care how much you hate a celebrity: it’s NEVER okay to target their loved ones. Guilty by association is not an excuse. Her little brother must be so proud of his big sister; how can anyone use his own flesh and blood against him like that? Really pisses me off.
P.S. Not wanting to kick someone when they’re down, nor am I saying this to be a bitch or anything, but … please lay off the rhinoplasty, Eunbi. Your nosebridge is too raised and too narrow. I don’t mind people getting work done on them, but if you’re going to take such measures shouldn’t you come out of it looking better?
