It was revealed today that actress Seo Hyo Rim (24) and actor Song Joong Ki (23) will be the new MCs of KBS2TV Music Bank. They will be replacing current MCs, gagman Yoo Se Yun and announcer Park Eun Young.
The Music Bank PD expressed, “Seo Hyo Rim and Song Joong Ki have shown us their cheerful and bubbly charisma through their tv dramas. Although they are primarily in the acting field, we discovered that they do have some potential in the variety field so we decide to choose them to be our MCs.
The new MCs will make their debut on 7th August, meaning that the 31st episode of Music Bank tonight will mark the last time that Yoo Se Yun and Park Eun Young will be hosting the show together. They have been a good pairing, I must say.
Seo Hyo Rim is done with MBC’s weekend drama, Good Job, Good Job with the final episode airing on 2nd August, this Sunday. Most will however be familar with Seo Hyo Rim as she was in KBS2TV’s Worlds Within, co-starring Hyun Bin and Song Hye Gyo. Song Joong Ki was last seen in MBC’s Triple which ended it’s run on 30th July.
