Besides Navi, IU is another solo female singer that has an incredible vocal range and she is still only 16.
In the past few weeks, IU has released a couple of UCC videos showing her in the recording studio as she covered several hit songs in recent times. On the 4th July episode of KBS2TV Yu Hui Yeol’s Sketchbook, IU appeared before a highly appreciative live crowd and stunned host as she performed acoustic covers of Gee, Lies and Sorry Sorry while strumming the guitar. She did a helluva of a good job with the covers and really showed to everyone again what she is capable of.
She also performed her own songs, Boo and You Know which sounded better than the usual. Must be the live band and music equipment.. and IU.
She ended with an english song, Tamia’s Almost.

Dang, videos are private. Well we all know IU has an awesome voice that definately needs some loving.
I loved all of her covers, especially Gee :D but Lies was pretty awesome too! I never knew she did one for that too. Almost was well done too, but she should keep working on her pronunciation. Other than that her voice is amazing! Boo never did her justice. ):

Honestly, it takes a while for me to become a big fan, but DANG I loved this girl from the start- like the first post of her on AKP with her covers. She’s SO talented. Pretty voice, hair, looks, etc. :) Love her!
