T-ara’s Ji Won and Ji Ae are OUT

It’s been only a little over a month since T-ara’s 5 members were introduced to the public: Ji Yeon, Ji Ae, Eun Jung, Hyo Min, and Ji Won. We have been seeing Ji Yeon in the news quite often, from her graduation pictures to her being casted in movies and dramas. However, in the midst of all of Ji Yeon’s recent fame and attention, there must have been some drama behind the scenes between some of the members of T-ara.

Ji Won and Ji Ae have decided to leave the group due to “differences in style” (commonly used these days). In my opinion, the loss of these two members may impact the group because as I watched their music video for Good Person, the OST song for the drama, Cinderella Man, I thought Ji Ae had the most unique voice while Ji Won already had quite a large fan base for her roles in movies like GoSa and A Story Sadder Than Sadness. But then again, if these two members had stayed in the group and continued to “clash”, the result might not be that good in the long term.

T-ara will not revert to being a 3-member group though because MNET Media has swiftly drafted in Jeon Young Rok’s daughter, Jeon Boram to become the new T-ara member, making it a 4-member girl group now. Jeon Boram had already made her debut as a singer at the start of the year when she released a project digital single called “Is it Today” in the single album “Lucifer Project 1” and stirred up the media as the only 3rd generation artist in Korea. Her father as well as her grandfather were famous singers in Korea and she is now continuing her family’s legacy.

    What if these two were brought back into T-ara?! and they add that trainee they love so much.. wouldn’t that make T-ara a 9 member group? o.0 . I really like Ji Ae though!

    i thought ji won and ji ae were the ones with the most charms! the girl on the left looks like a snsd jessica look-a-like. and i don’t think jeon boram fits the looks and concept of the group.

    i hope the 2 girls can debut soon thru another group or as actors~

    If the 2 girls made the decision to leave themselves, then good riddance, they should of left years ago instead of messing things up for the other 2, Ji Yeon doesn’t count she’s the company’s pet.

    Noooooooo! Are you kidding me?! I honestly didn’t have an attachment ro Ji Won but regardless, I REALLY was waiting to see them debut!! I was sooo waitinf for it, because despite all their negative rumors, I was always glad to see a girl group that could actually sing and went well together.. and Ji Ae.. was one of my favorites :( Why!? ugh.. well. I just hope they can keep up what they did once they debut and i’m glad they’re still intact.

    the first and second picture of jeon boram really shows the possibilities of makeup and photoshop……. screams fake beauty.
    and her circle lenses piss me off: they’re as big as nam gyuri’s.

    I’m sorry, but something is fishy here. Once again we have MNET Media and the issue of replacing members/members leaving. How could Jiwon and Jiae not know what style T-ara was going for after three years of training and preparation? Heck, they were supposed to debut this month so I doubt there was a change in the concept and style last minute because it takes time to record, practice, etc. I honestly think MNET pulled a fast one on the two girls. There’s something more to the problem because I don’t buy the lame excuse of “differences in style”. I mean it’s a total Wonbin and FTI de ja vu right there! Or if we choose to speculate on another route, we might have a Nam Gyuri issue again. It’s not hard to notice that all the attention even before the group debuted has gone towards Jiyeon, the youngest member and quite obviously the weakest vocal out of T-ara. I mean I still wonder why they put Jiyeon in the project group with Davichi, Boram, and Yeonjin when the other girls in T-ara had way better vocals and their ages were on par with Davichi and Boram too.

    I wrote a lot, but whatever Jiwon was my favorite and now I’m pissed I won’t be seeing her debut. It’s her second time not getting to debut too and ugh she has so much frkn talent and potential. Her and Jiae who was even the frkn leader had the strongest vocals in the group along with Eunjung. The vocal department of T-ara really took a hit with these two leaving. I just really hope Jiae and Jiwon will get their chance to debut one day. Their talent should not be wasted damn it!

    Hmmmm… well, good luck to this group, their debut might be delayed and now the songs T-ara recorded will need to be redone with the addition of that new girl’s voice. Since i haven’t seem them perform I can’t judge them yet. Good thing about the new girl, I’m bad with names =/ so atlease this new girl has a different hairstyle from the other members
