4minute’s “Hot Issue” MV Finally Released!
It’s finally here! 4minute’s MV, which has received both criticism and love from the teaser, has finally been released! With the girls just freshly debuting yesterday, there has already been much heated discussion surrounding 4minute, as there are a bunch of accusations against the group – Many are pointing fingers at 4minute, claiming that their concept is nothing but a mix of 2NE1 and After School’s style, their music video copies 2NE1’s “Fire” MV and Madonna’s “4 Minutes” MV, and that their song “Hot Issue” is a rip off of Black Eyed Peas “Boom Boom Pow.”
I think everyone is just overreacting and fueled up because there is just so much competition between the millions of girl groups nowadays. When all the tension fades, only then will everyone be able to see the girls of 4minute for themselves.
The music video is very well made in my opinion, something about it just reels you in. Not only is the song catchy as hell, the vibrant colors and the attitude of the girls make the whole video highly entertaining. Anyway, I can already tell my favorite is going to be the chick in the shades. She’s got that spunky attitude going on, almost like 2NE1’s CL. I can tell 4minute will be garnering a lot of attention from this MV. Damn, I always have this urge to just add an ’s’ to make their name plural. Engrish aside, check out their cool MV.

first off, i’m not a hater lol. song’s okay, but either their voices are horribly digitalized/computerized or that’s just how they sing, D: plus i don’t really like the fact that people are comparing them to 2ne1. i think it’s just cuz they debuted with a mediocre song and i think there’d be so much more positive attention if it was a better song.
I think the MV has really nice vibrant colors and with the colorful clothing it catches your eye. They show a lot more confidence and presence in the MV than in their debut perf. If they were that powerful in their performances I’m sure they would get less accusations and bashing.

i didnt think id like them but their song is actually pretty catchy but the beginning reminds me of 2NE1’s fire and the lyrics reminded me of pretty girl
