Far East Movement and Epik High rock NYC!
Both were hot, but I have to hand it to Far East Movement for bringing down the house at Circle NYC for the MTV Iggy + allkpop private show on May 21st and at the Fillmore on the 22nd. We’re all recovering from a hectic weekend of partying, as Matteo, Aliks and Eunice all flew out to NYC for the Map the soul tour, but also for my birthday. And if you search hard enough, you’ll see our drunken episodes or rather photos online… Twitter, hint hint.
Anyway, I’m not going to recap the entire concert, as it was similar in nature to the LA Concert, that you can read up on here. But the photos should speak for themselves! I guess the only major difference would be, was that the venue was hot as hell… I drank 4 large cans of Guinness while filming the show and didn’t have to piss even once, yeah I sweated it all out.

the most amazing concert ever, seriously. at first i couldn’t move AT ALL in the middle of the crowd.. and could barely see for that matter. but then my friend and i went back towards the bar and actually were able to BREATHE and i just danced and whatnot to the amazing show with all the room ever :) i didn’t even care who was watching haha. FM&epik; high are LOVE. keroone & myk were really good too. and dolores, haha.
I’m so jealous, I couldn’t go.

^And I’m the friend she’s talking about. The whole show was definitely amazing and crazily hot. I actually had to leave the room cause I was gonna die from dehydration, but I came running back up when I heard One and jumped like crazy rocking out in the back of the venue for the rest of the show, cause I couldn’t get back to my much-coveted spot 3 people away from the very front. A word of advice to future concert goers: Put your hair up, cause it is absolutely disgusting when there is so much sweat that because my arms is soaked every time I lift it up to rock out I bring the girl’s long hair in front of me with me. A special thanks to Tablo for soaking us with that bottle of water. He said it himself, that was “the hottest room I’ve ever been in.”
Hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the show. Epik High, especially Tablo, had this quality that completely captivated you.
It was great meeting Aliks, I’m a huge fan of his. Too bad we didn’t get to see the rest of the Allkpop crew.

that concert was HOT as HELL! deff a sauna.
it was burning up in there pretty much sharing people’s sweat, and other people’s hair was sticking to my arms. it was gross, but i didn’t care at the moment.
it was such an EPIK concert! everyone rocked it.
Kero One had such an amazing flow going from one song to the next.
the FM crew coming out in space suits and then just making the crowd go wild. i pretty much went crazzzzzzy! yo. Beatbox DG is SICKKKKKK!!
there was a lot of memorable moments that just keep replaying in my mind from Tablo’s emotional talk about depression in Korea before performing “One” and seeing MYK’s reaction when the crowd sang along to “Map the Soul”
the photos are super sweeeeet. allkpop is the besttt!!!
and of course…. i hope you had an awesome bday Johnny cause those twitter pictures deff say you had a hell of a good time lol.
