Netizens tend to dig up embarrassing past photos of popular celebrities, but in this case, Sandara Park’s past photos are a little too surprising. While most stars start off with a cute and innocent image and later head on toward a more mature image, it seems like Sandara Park went the complete opposite way, starting off with sexy and then going cute and innocent. The following photographs were found in a Phillipines Men’s magazine. I thought Sandara was really young, but turns out she’s 24 years old. But whether she’s 18 or 24, she’s still way too young to be taking pictures like these.

1. Sandy or Koreans calle her Dara was a teen Idol in the Philippines so she started in cutsie role back in 2004 when she was 19, think of Hanna Montana. The photograph was taken in 2007 when she was actually 22 years old, where she has been clamoring for none Korean/Foreigner roles or roles that doesnt appeal to teens.
2. Dara an Aliw (Grammy equivalent) winning actress and multi platinum singer (Like Miley Cyrus) did not post for just any magazine, this is the most elite of the magazines for men in the Philippines like GQ
3. Every Philippine teen actress have gone through the same thing to get more mature roles in the movie industry and its actually quite normal.
PS: Sandy is the ONLY none Philippine national that won the Aliw or had multi platinum album awarded in the Philippines, so your talking about a Philippine ICON here, a national treasure even if she is full korean, a testament to the Philippine society.
this is actually how it is in the philippines. When you start off as a teeny actress you would eventually do this kind of photos to show that you’re maturing. It’s normal for a 20 year old actress to pose for men magazines in the Philippines and is widely accepted in the country.

okayy. i know this issue has been talked about for a long time but i want to clear things up for SANDY/DARA. it is true that most celebrities start with the innocent and cute image. actually DARA, started off as a cute teenager who starred in a lot of teen flicks and shows. i think she took this action to achieve more mature roles in the future and this photos were taken during the downfall of her career in the philippines. i don’t think that it is right to judge her by this photos. i also think that she might have never thought of actually having a career in korea and achieving high popularity. what’s important is what she is right now. move on people :D

it may sound as a cliche but the saying suits you well. “Don’t judge the book by its cover.” Well, Sandy has indeed posed once in a men’s magazine here in the Philippines but it doesn’t mean that she is already less of person. The Sandara Park that we have known before and the Dara Park now is still the same person. Nothing has changed. Besides, only the sought- after actresses here are invited to pose in men’s magazine and for you to know these actresses keeps their wholesome image after posing. This goes the same with Sandar back then. The mag where she posed sexy is not as dirty as the other men’s magazine you have read. And FYI, the owner of this mag is a good friend of Sandara.

It’s a men’s magazine… everyone offered with chances to be the in the mag has the choice either to accept or to decline the offer being offered…before sandara did that particular shoot for the magazine, she was also the cute and funky one… It’s just maybe stepping quite a bit out of the super cute and funky image…
it’s just the philippine kind of pictures. i didn’t even know these existed while i was on the philippines, but yes these pics are common, in philippines. sigh…yes i don’t like these pics because of the amount of skin and the style. i like her better with the cute image. actually her image in the philippines is almost the same in korea, cute and funny (correct me if i’m wrong pls, these are just my opinions), so i don’t know what happened with these pictures…somehow i feel bad fo Dara.

these pics were way too old..sexy pictorials are just so natural in the philippines even superstars, famous actresses or teen stars could have these done, not a big deal. sandara was just one…but her image back then was still cute and wholesome, and by the way her contemporaries at that time were also posing in sexy magazines, it was just a trend.

uh, this was a career move of sandara in the phils. not really shocking since it was done pretty well. and she didnt do it just for the sake of or like how fhm mags were done. the photoshoot was also done by her a Star Magic (her talent agency in the Phils) member.
