Jun Ji Hyun’s “Blood: The Last Vampire” UK trailer
The UK trailer for the movie “Blood: The Last Vampire†starring Jun Ji Hyun (also known as Gianna Jun) has recently been released. We’ve already seen the Japanese trailer for this movie, titled “Last Blood” in Japan, but it was only 30 seconds long and it was obviously in Japanese. The UK trailer is longer (97 seconds) therefore it gives you a better idea of what the movie is about and naturally it’s in English.
I’m a fan of Ji Hyun and I think she’s gorgeous so the combination of Jun Ji Hyun + Samurai sword + school girl outfit = a must watch movie in my book. Even though she only says a few short lines in the trailer, Ji Hyun’s English seems unexpectedly good. The only bad thing I have to say about the movie so far is that the wire stunts look a little cheesy, which is surprising since the people behind “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon†worked on this film as well.
“Blood: The Last Vampire†is scheduled to premiere in Japan first on the 29th of May. It will then be released in the UK on June 12th and in France on June 17th, but the date for its US release has not been officially announced yet.
I wanna see!!! Oh my I am so writing this down so I won’t forget about this movie.

This looks REALLY good, i watched the anime last time you posted an article about this movie and it was great but too short. The movie looks k=like it has a better story line. Can’t wait to watch it. COME ON UK! hehe.

hmmmm…why is it that when western companies take an asian movie/anime, they have to put a random white person in it? not that i don’t mind, i’m just curious as to why i’m seeing a wide-eyed white girl fighting next to saya instead of kick-ass haji? seems pretty lame to me.
but the movie does look pretty interesting otherwise.

I remember watching the anime version of this. It was cool. Maybe the actors are just not very good at the wire stunts? To me it seems like the poses look awkward
